What is the treatment for alcohol addiction?

Everyone’s journey in recovery is unique.

Addiction is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. At Plum Creek Recovery Ranch, our approach to treatment addresses the medical, psychiatric, and social factors of alcohol addiction. By treating the whole person, we can better identify and modify the triggers that lead to substance use.

Individual Therapy and Group Therapy

We’re one of the few inpatient alcohol rehabilitation centers in Texas to provide gender-specific group therapy. Gender-specific treatment helps minimize distractions and provides a safe place for residents to explore issues that might be uncomfortable in a combined group. We also provide individual therapy once a week.

Health and Wellness - Drug Abuse Treatment

Nutrition & Wellness Support

A nutrition assessment is part of our admissions process at Plum Creek Recovery Ranch. Part of thriving in treatment at our alcohol rehab center is building healthy habits in all areas of our life, so your treatment plan consists of diet and exercise recommendations.

Family Program

Long-term success in recovery involves building healthy relationships and a solid support system. Our Family Program improves communication, educates, and repairs relationships between families and loved ones. Weekend visits and progress reports are part of the treatment plan.

What if I Need to Detox?

Drug and Alcohol Detox Facility

If detox is necessary before starting treatment, Plum Creek Recovery Ranch will set up services at a drug and alcohol detox facility as part of your treatment plan. We have great partnerships with our sister facilities near Austin.

Detoxing from drugs and alcohol under the supervision of medical professionals can help you navigate withdrawal safely and help prevent any life-threatening complications.
