Sarah Hogan- Executive Director/CEO

Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 13 years of experience in the behavioral health field as well as a certified provider of Cognitive Processing Therapy for Trauma. She has extensive experience in counseling and case management with local mental health authorities, emergency homeless shelters, leading high acuity response teams, and serving first responders/veterans.

Sarah led a cross-payer effort in San Antonio/Bexar County as the Director of the Southwest Texas Crisis Collaborative, which supported over 15 innovative programs to enhance the behavioral health system of care.

She is inspired by people that are willing to go above and beyond to help someone.  Sarah says, “When I see people bring kindness into the world, it’s contagious!  It motivates me to emulate the same energy to spread to others around me.

A core part of Sarah’s philosophy is rooted in her belief that people deserve the opportunity to heal in a safe, trauma-informed environment.  She says,  “I believe it’s my duty to help lead and build a culture at Plum Creek where not only do the residents that we serve feel safe and taken care of but so do our employees.
Because Sarah is the daughter of a father that suffered from addiction, leading Plum Creek Recovery Ranch is a full-circle moment for her. She is motivated by change and truly believes in a holistic approach to recovery. Being the Executive Director of Plum Creek Recovery Ranch aligns with Sarah’s personal mission and brings her great joy.
